Hi
the URL is detected automatically and it seems like HTTPS is enabled on your server.

Re: Share button in template
I have noticed the message below in my cPanel, are other providers doing something similar and is it the cause of giampaolo1959's problem?
"From October 2017, new domains, subdomains or addon domains hosted in cPanel are created with default SSL Certificate.
If you don't have an SSL Certificate already, cPanel will install a self-signed SSL to your domain. There are two issues connected with that:
Self-signed SSLs are not trusted by browsers. A user visiting a website using this SSL type gets a browser warning that there is an issue with the website's security certificate.
If you don't set up a redirect from http:// to https:// you may face a content duplication issue which affects SEO rankings.
To ensure you use a trusted SSL Certificate, Namecheap is offering 1-year free PositiveSSL limited to 1 cPanel primary domain for newly created account, and up to 49 new subdomains or addon domains per account. To install it, please visit the Namecheap SSL plugin."

I am fortunate that I can use Let's Encrypt SSL for my NAS. It's a free service that provides you a cert that is trusted by the browsers.
Getting this cert installed is not as easy as point and click. There is some configuration involved..

Re: Share button in template
In my case the problem is that despite Let's encrypt being free, there is still some configuration on the server which needs to be done and my provider charges for this, so Lets encrypt is free, but moving to https would not be, there is a monthly fee

That stinks that your hosting provider will charge for this configuration change..
Maybe this can assist others who are wanting a free alternative to a SSL cert that is trusted by the browsers..

They wont charge for the change, I would have higher monthly fee so Im not considering it now
