Welcome! Spent many years in my teens (1960-70) in Port Jefferson. Nice to get the weather from there. probably would not recognize the place anymore.

Small world! I love Port Jeff. Down by the water, it has not changed much. Been here for 21 years now. I grew up in Smithtown, only 9 miles west. Married my high school sweetheart (actually have known her since 6th grade) and moved here to start a family. The great thing about Long Island is the four seasons. The worst thing is the traffic, cost of living, taxes and now the overcrowding. Won’t get into that political discussion
