World Time

Post by nineback » Mon Jan 22, 2018 10:05 pm

I have the setting set to False to show 24 hour time but the clocks are still showing 12hr time with the am/pm indicator.

What about clearing your browser cache? Or try another browser.

No, it's not that, I've just checked it here and it's showing PM.

It seems to be all right here.

Did you manage to fix it, nineback Tom?

Rgds,

Interesting. It still is not working here. I tried two different browsers and on a Windows machine and a Mac machine.

I am no PHP expert, Tom, and am probably talking through my hat; but is it possible that your base time setting in the main menu controls your over-all time preferences? Even then, I'm not sure. PHP does seem to have at times problems with timing; For instance, if I move from the default view of my local radar and then return, the timing becomes strange and requires a full refresh to become normal.

I have no idea. I thought that Jachym would comment.

OK, Tom,

I'm lost on this one. Here's the latest image as I see your site:

If Johnny's still around perhaps he can advise from his location.

The clock in your footer this morning was showing 2:41am - so it's still using the 12 hour Am/PM clock. Picture taken from your site as well, your UTC time matches exactly Greenwich Mean Time here (as you'd expect). Although this is not resolving your 24 hour clock problem.
