Once comparing wind data in Meteotemplate and Weather Display I noticed the following.
Wind gust values (average, maximum) are consistent with WD. But wind speed values in Meteotemplate are significantly lower. I upload data via API in 10 seconds interval.
I also imported 7 year data from WD, same observation applies. Wind speed shown by MT are significantly lower.
What might be the reason for this?

This would be a question for Brian. Mt uses average for wind speed and maximum for gust, the values sent to the Api for gust should be maximum values
Also, what exactly is significantly, how much

This year data for average wind, WD 6.5 m/s vs MT 3.9 m/s. Difference being 40%. Today's data 2.2 vs 1, dif 54%

Do you have the same units in WD and MT? Are we talking about wind average or wind gust?

Re: Wind speed in Meteotemplate vs Weather Display
We are talking average wind speed (not gust). Gust is all ok and consistent in MT / WD. Yes, same units in both systems (m/s), in database km/h
There's logical explanation for historical data off-set - once converted from WD and uploaded to MT database, WD calculates these 5 min interval data and that creates offset.
However - it does not explain values stored via API. Will study with API viewer at appropriate point.

Re: Wind speed in Meteotemplate vs Weather Display
Problem solved.
In WD graphs I had 10 minute average but maximum average value was not based on 10 min. Ticked that in WD setup - all ok.
Values in WD and MT are now very close if not equal.
