We have had a weather station on my roof terrace here at my house since 2009. We live at 706m altitude above the town of Lanjarón in the Alpujarras region south of Granada. Its a Davis Vantage Pro2 and is still going strong. Although we live at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains (27 - 3000m+ summits!) this is still a very dry part of Europe and it has really been useful to record the rainfall patterns and cycles over the years.
In the past we have used a variety of templates from Weather Display, WeatherLive, Saratoga and lastly, Leuven templates. I stumbled across the Meteo template a few days ago, and thought ... wow! I had to give it a go.
Have to say the Wiki is very good and within a day or so I was running live. Only problem I had on installation was related to a permissions issue on my Apache Server. Jachym was very quick to resolve and I was soon up and running. Feedback from users is that it is a vast improvement on previous templates. I totally agree!
The site is up and running at https://www.spanishhighs.co.uk/meteotemplate/. Grateful for any constructive suggestions.
