Looking for settings for McMurdo Station, Antarctica

Post by aznetcowboy » Sun May 13, 2018 5:51 pm

I want to include McMurdo Station, Antarctica in both my worldtime and worldweather blocks. For the worldtime block the code I added is:

$locations [] = array("McMurdo Station",-77.8499966 166.666664,"Antarctica/McMurdo",'us');

For the worldweather block I added "28289409". So far no updates have occurred I had to delete the worldtime entry just to get what was working before to work again. I open to suggestions. :geek:

I also can't get it running but found it on WU... https://www.wunderground.com/personal-w ... 516/mdaily

Very interesting Weather Station to keep an eye on. I see they just barely broke "0" degress and heading into their spring if you can call it that... :)

I can't tell you how lucky I was when I was in the navy and had orders to be transferred to "operation Deep Freeze" in 1988 and with only 3 week away from going, instead I was transferred to a newly commissioned A6 Squadron instead "VA-36 Road Runners". The happiest day of my life not going there...:)

Sorry but the Southern Hemisphere is in the last month of Autumn (Fall) at the moment (mid May). Spring is a whole Winter away! (BTW, in Australia (at least) we use the start of months for our change of seasons, rather than solstices and equinoxes.)

Reading your post I just remembered you are going into your winter down there and we in the northern part of the world awaiting summer. Burrrrrr. Can't figure how human's can take that -56 (f). seems unnatural... but someone has to do it... :)
