Hi
My Rain block is acting weird. The values are all wrong. Starting with monthly and yearly they are incorrect and are different from WD.
The today value is out 1mm, but the rain rate in more is correct. We just had a small shower of 1.4mm but it only shows 0.4.
When hovering over the steel gauge though it displays correctly.
Any suggestions please?
Many thanks
Chris

Re: Rain Block
Hello, Chris,
The first thing I suggest, if you haven't already done so, is to go to your control panel, then down to the Data Base section and select the Bulk Data Base Editing. At the very bottom of that page you will find an option to "Check and Fix Rain'. Activate that and you will be shown a report showing how many, if any, adjustments have been made. Don't worry, if there are no adjustments it will report such and will not affect your records.
Secondly if you are not using the Weather Display API (in the WD control panel, which reports a calendar day) the timing of your records will depend on your settings for the meteorological day within the WD programme, which means you could have a timing overlap between WD and Meteotemplate.
If I recall correctly Brian did mention a few months ago, perhaps longer, that he could readily amend the API to accommodate those of us who conform to the Australian/New Zealand 0900 to 0900 meteorological day. I should have, but didn't take him up on his offer.
Regards,
John
