New host for template

Post by mholguin » Sun Jan 20, 2019 10:39 pm

I moved my database to a new server , with no issues. New server is more stable, so I figure I could move the template from the raspberry my sensors are currently hooked on to the new server. The plan is to let the respberry to solely update the database, and do all access from the new server.

Copied the template, and is running fine. I verified it is reading the database. Problem is, it shows the station as being offline (whilst the raspberry version is working fine), and live gauges shows no data. Current Data shows the correct information.

I haven't played with the template fir a while and I'm running black currant (if it is not broken, don't fix it!) and is the first time I switch to a new server. So I'm not really sure on what am I missing here....

Thanks!!!

Marino

Did you copy files over directly or did you do a clean install?

Also... what is the site address?

Where are you reading the database from. Your local server or new host. You have to point MT setup "MySQL Database" to the location of the database.
