Fit like from Peterhead

Post by skippyinspace » Thu Jan 24, 2019 10:34 pm

Hi All,

Im Skippyinspace, Name comes from being Australian by birth and having an interest in Space exploration. Im located near Peterhead Scotland 35 miles north of Aberdeen.

After a few years with out a weather station Ive managed to get a Davis Vantage Vue and picked up the datalogger second hand but didnt want to run the PC 24/7 and found out about the meteobridge and actually managed to flash the TP device so now have the Davis console in the Radio Room connected to the meteobridge pumping the info out to weather underground.

Im slowly working on my meteotemplate site and slowly working out what blocks to put on the home page etc. will update sitelink once Im happy with it.

Im going to ask a question and I expect the answer is obvious but Ive been unable to locate it, Most people seem to have pretty footers with weather information, How do I create one?

My weather site is can be quite windy and is in exposed open countryside, I have dreams of updating it with a bloomsky or an ok weather cam.

I find it strange that as a kid I was always tinkering with electronics and pcs but now heading towards 50 the word "code" sends shivvers down my spine.

Blue Skies

G'day, Skippy, and welcome,

You will find the banners you mention in the download section of the Meteotemplate site. It is titled Stickers.

Cheers, mate,

Looks like Ive got the sticker working, Knew it was something obvious but not as obvious as it was.
Now just to decide on the blocks for the front page and sort out the website as at the moment the www.skippyinspace.com is going to a holding page but when I change the forward to a webspace \template I just get a mess of unformatted information. I with IONOS so I might need a web page program. Still not fussed yet as I haven't had a proper play and don't really want to go fully live until I sort my blocks

Thanks for the help

Your page comes up fine for me. You have the wrong slash showing in your post '\template'
