we have recently setup a WS-2902A weather station in Greece in order to collect meteorological data from our area, to assist us in the production of olives. According to studies, the differentiation between crop yielding and growing branches is affected by the amount of time that certain temperatures exist. For instance, between the months of November and February a cumulative amount of 1200 hours where the temperature is under 7C is needed for the olive trees in our region to achieve the maximum amount of crop producing branches.
Is there any way that using the data accumulated from the weather station and meteotemplate we could perhaps have this information? I would guess it is something that would be useful for other producers of agricultural products.
