Example site configuration

Is it possible to have an example site configuration (like the "Demo" site in the home page) to start a new meteotemplate site (making obviously the personalzation for the own station/info)? Just to not start from scratch.

My personal belief is that this would not work well. The template relies on the customization of blocks and plugins. I have looked at literally hundreds of template sites and have yet to find 2 that are even remotely similar, I believe that this is the biggest selling (not literally) point of this template. There are other templates available and they all look almost identical.

If you are having an issue, there is written help for every step in the wiki.

http://www.meteotemplate.com/web/wiki/wiki1GB.php

There is also videos for every step.

And you can certainly ask here in the forums and people will bend over backwards to help you.

Hi,
yes, that is true. The other reason is that updating the template takes quite a while - compiling the files, preparing the script for the auto-update, uploading the entire file to the server etc.

Therefore if the template was to also include some basic blocks, each block update would require also template update.
