I was required, a couple of weeks ago to transfer my connection to the internet to what is known here as the 'nbn'. This is a fibre network and does not involve changing my ISP nor my web site. It did, though, change my static IP address.
Since then I have had no end of trouble with logging in to (presumably cookie controlled) non-meteoteplate sites. However, I can no longer log in to my weather site. I can see my site, but the usual icon in the menu bar and the other option in the footer no longer appear/work - well the footer link does work but does not recognise my password. If my memory serves, Jáchym warned that including a fixed IP address could cause problems should it change. It seems that I have fallen into that trap, as I had no idea whatsoever that it would change. Aarrgh!
Should anyone on the forum have an answer to this problem I will be very appreciative of your advice.
Regards,
John B

Re: Unable to log in to my template
Right, after a bit of mucking about, it is sorted.
It was found that the smaller of the config.php files found by searching via the template and an FTP programme and then running down the code revealed an IP address which was incorrect. The adjustment was made and saved. I now have full access again.
Phew!
