WU - gone

Hi guys,

as some of you have already noticed, as of today, WU deleted all their pages providing data from stations. Instead there is now a new API system, which however is also problematic because the key links in the documentation are non-functional. This will affect all users using WU for updating their templates as well as importing data from WU.

It is unfortunate, but not really a surprise for me...

Not sure what they have done. If I go to WU directly, all of my station data history can be displayed.

If I use the "Weather Report" function of Leuven Template, it will retrieve data from WU for 2010 thru 2018, but 2019 is blank.

When viewing on WU, my data went back to March 2005, but now the oldest is January 2008. So now on WU, my data is from Jan 2008 to Dec 2018.

I'm about to pull the plug on WU.

Hi,
yes, WU is working and it is receiving data from your station, but the pages where one could download this data are no longer working.

Yep https://www.wunderground.com/weathersta ... y&format=1 is none functional with an error code of "An error occurred while processing your request."

Well not really an error code but...

Oh well. Windy.com is looking better and better everyday for a backup. I need to set up a local MySQL database using my new gadget "Ecowitt GW1000b" device I have mentioned a few days ago which seems to be working very well although I have only had it for 4-5 days. No lockups or failures yet. ObserverIP ver 4.5.6 has locked up 3 times since. Frustrating.

Im frustating too , my station is a froggit ws10001 and work only WU , in my dashboard new interface on wunderground i see my all s data https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/IAGDE14 , and have same error code to test update page, Jachym if you have an issue to solve and save the meteo station only work Wu because no issue to use software in the real time , work only manualy process and verry hard to configure in cvs format or other .

The question is how long this will be supported, they want to completely merge to their new API.

It is also quite unbelievable that cutting off the original history pages came without any previous notice.

The solution work for me changinging in testupade.php and update.php url WU https://www. by https://api. I hope long time work when Jachym solve new integration

The problem is that I cant find such link in the documentation, which means it is not very reliable and could stop working any day too

yes and is not very work in my template station say online and offline 1 hours or more and re update and online , understand what data not updtate every 5 minutes so not good at this time after midnight i hope work well wait and see

Jachym understand what changing only link www by api tu update.php my current says online then offline 1 hours or more , in my configuration not changing interval in current seting 11 minutes , and my server is same time for my meteo station before work perfect but now have update problem it s possible to investigate my problem ? thx for help.

Wu now work new api and compatible meteotemplate, just put the file php writen to user nicoloconte and Tinso and add 2 sensors in the file, see the forum viewtopic.php?f=46&t=1515&p=8433#p8433

Jay, older WU api Uv sensor no see on the current conditions , now work fine !!

verry happy the station online now whith new api.
