Hi,
transfering to https obviously has many advantages, one of them being that it would solve the problem many https users have, where no data can be loaded from my server - including latest versions, updates, menu etc.

On the other hand there is also disadvantages of this or rather I should say complicateions and so for now I have to say no, I probably do not plan upgrading meteotemplate.com, and it is with regret because I know that it is unfortunate to have https people affected by this - those who are sort of "thinking ahead".

I am one of the members who are running their site securely. I know that the auto-update doesn't work for me to update the plugins.

I respect Jachym's decision to not modify his environment to https. Have you updated the wiki with this information so less people will bring this up in the future?

Sorry for straying off-topic.. ;(

It´s not my wish.... my wish is quite the opposite, but it is a bit more complicated.

and it would only solve the problem for some, not all

I re-worded my previous post. It's not your wish, but decision.

. . . You can't please everyone. It is what it is.
