Main Setup - Email Address Disappearing

In the Main Setup I enter my email address and click on Test Email. I receive an email as expected and click Save at the bottom of the setup screen. For some reason the email address will not stick. I leave the setup screen and then return to the setup screen the email address is gone and only an @ shows.

Ideas?

This field is for testing purposes. As it mentions, it is intended for testing, whether your server supports mailing - i.e. you either get the mail or not. The actual email address for various blocks/plugins is always specified separately in each block/plugin setting that uses this.

Thanks. I never realized it was just for testing.

I thought there was a place to check to have the template send an email if it was offline for some time. I can not find where that setting is?
