New installation help

Post by jpk1018 » Mon Nov 20, 2017 8:37 pm

New user here and I am having trouble loading the template using WordPress. I'm getting this with a failure msg: theme is missing the style.css stylesheet

Any ideas about a fix.

Thanks
John

Hi John,
Im afraid you misunderstood the concept of Meteotemplate. Meteotemplate is a template on its own. It has nothing to do with WordPress. It is like trying to run Wordpress inside Meteotemplate. Meteotemplate is basically an equivalent of WP optimized for PWS (simply put).
No part of MT is optimized or will run in Wordpress, likewise the plugins are purely for MT, will not run under WP.
The only option would be an iframe, however I would highly discourage you from doing this because an iframe always looks absolutely awful and causes issues with scaling etc.

Thanks Jachym I will see what my options are for getting rid of WP. I am using one of a friends extra domains.

John you can continue using WP, Meteotemplate can run in a subfolder, its just that it will be compeltely separate from your WP page
