As per my post, my updates stopped suddenly a week after updating my template and PHP version, and I use the API.
No problems at all since reverting to PHP 7.4.

Re: PHP 8.x versions and MT 19.0
Interesting to find this post, because having used Meteotemplate almost without issue since 2017 I have been reluctant to update from 18.0 to 19.0 and my PHP version from 7.4 to 8.x. I took the plunge last week, and everything was fine until today (except for some blocks and plugins that no longer w...

Re: Exploit found with redirect.php
I have had this exact same issue, several times over the past few months. Google informed me that they had detected the problem and asked me to resolve it. Once my host took my site down because of it! I am also still on 18.0. This particular redirect.php file has been untouched since 2017. How can ...

Corrupt database
I have been running MT flawlessly since 2017 (still on Papaya and PHP 7.4 until all the problems have been ironed out). Twice in the past 3 weeks my database has become corrupted. Fortunately I pay my host for backups so have been able to roll back to the previous day or two, but this results in gap...

Hi Jachym,
Long time no see, as we say in the UK!
Glad to see you're still working on MT and look forward to updates.

Mobile Template Forecast not working
On my secondary MT site the forecast block has stopped working : - https://weathergeek.co.uk/mytempest/meteotemplate/pages/lite/index.php I know forecast sources are now limited, and I have corrected the desktop site by using Meteoblue. Where does the forecast data for the mobile template come from,...

Dark Sky finally switched off...
So it looks like Dark Sky has finally been switched off - until yesterday the Forecast Block still worked for Dark Sky but it stopped updating yesterday. The Outlook Block also appears to have stopped working, presumably because it also used the Dark Sky API. Yet another great feature of Meteotempla...

Where to insert rel=“me”?
I would like to verify my website on my Mastodon account by inserting a rel=“me” backlink as instructed. I understand that on a conventional html website this should go in the header. However where should I insert it into Meteotemplate? I’m thinking within indexDesktop.php and indexMobile.php but he...

Alternative to Meteotemplate?
This post won't go down well with some of you I know but I am wondering if there is an alternative to Meteotemplate? I've been using Meteotemplate on two of my weather sites for some five years now so know what I'm doing. Initially the support was fantastic and the template was updated frequently. I...

Re: updated meteogram block
Just to let you all know that the latest version 4.0 of meteogram doesn't work properly. Reverting back to my previous version 3.3 higher up this thread works fine. My advice would be NOT to use the automatic block updater with this particular block.

A couple more plugin errors...
I've noticed that the Jet Stream plugin is no longer displaying data, and the Night Sky plugin no longer produces a Night Sky map (the Sky Forecast still works fine).
Hopefully it's just a data source change issue. Could these be updated perhaps?

Re: “Unable to load data for realtime.txt“ error
I solved the problem by specifying the path to realtime.txt in /meteotemplate/update/updateSettings.php. I honestly can’t remember having to do this before!

“Unable to load data for realtime.txt“ error (SOLVED)
I’ve been running two versions of Meteotemplate for some time, my main site wessexweather.net using the api and another using realtime.txt and update.php. This second site was running on an addon domain with a Cron job running update.php every minute. Over the weekend I decided to move this site fro...

I look forward to the next MT generation!

Re: New WeatherFlow Tempest icon
As meteotemplate uses css mapping, I think that only the first part of the 'table' ( css class mapping ) is important Your screenshots show the icon set mapped with the names used in Meteotemplate. Mine show the images but no names, just “meteotemplate-0”, “meteotemplate-1”... etc. Do I have to ren...

Re: New WeatherFlow Tempest icon
I've managed to load all 225 attached icons into Fontastic, and created a new svg icon for the Tempest (using Convertio). How do I now get this new Tempest icon into the mticon set? Do I have to add it, then manually rename all 226 fonts as per the attached icons-reference.html, then download them a...
