Re: updated graphCombined block
Hi, when I check your site http://www.sunset-weather.com/template/indexDesktop.php, and check your 'offset' it's not 5 hours but 1 hour just like with me, (i put my cursor on midnight of a date, and it shows not 00:00 but 01:00). Also you should see, as you said the data when you hover over a graph...

Re: updated graphCombined block
I got graphcombined block working with suggestions and files from those here with much more php knowledge than I have, which is virtually none on my part. Running graphCombined 3.0 and got it working by replacing the data.php with the version from grahpCombined 2.0 Two issues with how the graphs dis...

Re: apiCache.txt keeps becoming corrupted
Changing the frequency for updating api.php has solved another issue. I had WD configured to send updates every 15 seconds for quite a while, and I had a problem with precipitation being carried over to the next day. It was easy to resolve by editing the 00:00:00 entry in the database, to set the ra...

Re: apiCache.txt keeps becoming corrupted
It appears that the frequency updates are sent to template/api.php will cause the template/cache/apiCache.txt file to become corrupted. I am running WeatherDisplay on my end, and had the update frequency set to 15 seconds. I noted that the apiCache.txt file was updating every 5 seconds on my site. I...

apiCache.txt keeps becoming corrupted
Having an issue where the database stops updating because the template/cache/apiCache.txt file becomes corrupted. This has been an issue in the past, but occurred very infrequently. The fix is to simply delete the file and the database again starts updating. This would usually happen no more than 2 ...

Re: "Station climate" page non-functional after updating to 19.0 and PHP 8.x
This is not an option with some hosting companies. I have the option to revert to PHP 7.x, but they will charge a "PHP7 support fee" that is greater than my monthly hosting fee.

Re: Meteotemplate - process of updating
Victim of failing to notice a problem, but it's still not working. Just a more detailed error message. What tripped me up is that every now and then the " apiCache.txt " file becomes corrupt on the server, which prevents any further updates to the database. Always happens at 03:05:00 time ...

Re: Meteotemplate - process of updating
Help! This one has me stumped. I am running Meteotemplate 19, PHP version 8.2.14, I have updated both ssGauges block to 3.2, and steelGauges plugin to 4.1 In either case, both display gauges, but do not populate them with current data. The plugin displays "error: Internal Server Error" Wha...

Re: rain check over midnight
I have had an issue with rain carry over since at least 2019, and raised the issue with Jachym. He allowed that other users also have had the issue, and suspected timing issues with the API and the software sending the information. In my case, Weather Display. At the time, he did not have a solution...

Re: Meteotemplate - process of updating
Strange: After 1.5 month my site was running without any problems under php 8.2, since this morning it didn't work anymore: I couldn't call the desktop layout at all and the mobile layout didn't show the Steel-Series instruments. I switched to php 7.4 as a test, everything works there. I have chang...

Re: Meteotemplate - process of updating
Hi Jachym, I have had once the same issue (please remember my mail), after replacing the API.php all was fine and database was updated again. Regards The database not updating has returned for me. The new api file initially fixed the problem, but the database stopped updating on 9/1/23 at 3AM. The ...

Re: Meteotemplate - process of updating

Re: Meteotemplate - process of updating
My provider is basically forcing an upgrade to PHP 8.x. If I didn't update, they were going to charge a support fee for PHP 7.x that is greater than my normal monthly hosting fee.

Re: problem with a new site (PHP 8.1)
I have everything I want working now that I've had to update to PHP 8.x One issue that I've found, that will likely be an ongoing nuisance, is that I cannot edit the database entries, via Control Panel > Database > edit data, or if I choose Bulk Database Editing > Check and Fix Rain. I had an outlie...

I have a 1.4 million database entries for my site, back to early 2005, but I don't have the delay I noticed with your site. I would suspect your hosting providers end.

Re: Offline, but it isn't.
The timing on mine is all over the place, middle of the night, mid afternoon, evening.
I agree, it looks like an SQL issue, as I did confirm everything else was updating, including the current conditions block in MT, and clientraw.txt.
I host with 1&1
