Thanks to both people who responded. I tried again to install the latest version of the block from a few days ago and it seems to be working. I think I know what my mistake was last evening. I tried to have both the old and the new version running, with different names, but it seems that didn't work...

@lemini Thank you for the suggestion I try Davidefa's new version but it would not install for me. Perhaps I need instructions of exactly how to install Davidefa's version. I started this new thread because it seemed to me that my current problem was not like the one that Davidefa set out to solve.
