lightning block not showing map

Since some days the lightning block is not showing maps any more - is this a problem of my configuration or does anyone encouter the same issue?

No, kratochh, it is not your set up. It seems that Blitzortung has changed its file references/locations.

I just figured out what changes need to be done to work properly:

Just replace "images" with "www" in the link to the maps in the file "lightning_block.php"

For those who might have got confused trying to amend the lightningBlock.php file you can do the changes on the following lines:

160
166
172
178
184
190
196
203

On each of those lines you will find "http://images.blitzortung.org/Images ...". Simply change the word images to www thus:
http://www.blitzortung.org/Images...
