Re: Rain totals duplicated at 12:00 am

Thanks Alex,

That looks like the fix. Will now have to wait until it rains to see if it works (probably 48 hours)

Rain totals duplicated at 12:00 am

Answers to this problem may be limited to anybody who uses Weatherlink software. My terminology here may also be incorrect - as I don't know the correct terms to use, but hopefully this is understood So my setup is that my Vantage Pro 2 data is stored using Weatherlink software, which then with the ...

Erroneus Date in Extremes Table

I have the extremes block installed on my site, however I have noticed that whilst all of my site data starts in 2009, the extremes table is showing data from Jan 1, 1970. If I edit the site data in my site Control Panel, I cannot select 1970 to edit - it doesn't exist. If I have a look at the allda...

[solved] HELP!!! Autoredirect from http to https

Hi all.

Thanks for everybody's help.

The problem has been solved. Strangely, I had to change my host name from

eyesontheweather.com.au to ftp.eyesontheweather.com.au

Once this was changed, all files once again started uploading with their beautiful data!!

Re: HELP!!! Autoredirect from http to https

Thanks to davidefa - that has now solved problem one - the webpage loads with correct formats, and looks normal - however station is now showing as being offline for last couple of days. Not sure if anybody here uses the same upload method to here to help me troubleshoot. My station is a Davis Vanta...

HELP!!! Autoredirect from http to https

Firstly, I don't understand any of these http, or https references - I simply follow instructions and do what they say, with a bit of googling. So the problem is that my page when I try and load as http://eyesontheweather.com.au automatically redirects to https://eyesontheweather.com.au Googling how...

Re: Site not loading in Chrome but does in Firefox

Aaah!! Thanks!!

Yes - using https and the site will not load.. changing it to http.. and it loads.

Strange however... I just used the site address from my cache, which I presumed would load correctly, and that was when I had problems.

Not to worry - all working now.

Re: updated meteogram block

Thanks David. Now I'm not sure where I was getting V4.0 from as it isn't showing.. possibly looking at another block. Have installed V 3.6, gone into Unofficial Block setup.. previous details were already there, but have updated again and saved the block. Same error. Have cleared the cache from Bloc...

Have just installed the new mods block, and updated to v4.0 - but getting those white panels on the side, so have now reverted back to 3.3 and cleared cache. Have checked settings and updated for my location (Wantirna, lat=-37.84989&lon=145.23763&altitude=91) I'm now getting a Failed Loading...

Re: Cron job failing

and probably the ip adress of your pi just has changed one digit: for example 192.168.0.164 to 192.168.0.167 or something. the change will be in the last three digits of the ip adress, you could try changing the ip with putty (using ssh) until you get lucky and get access. My router is showing Cumu...

Re: Cron job failing

1. check if the easycron has not failed. sometimes it does: you need just to reset it. But I don't think it's this. It's not. The Cron is working fine. 3. Check your paths in Cumulus (MX?), probably that's not ok anymore, because you said you changed server. I am guessing that this MIGHT be the pro...

Re: Cron job failing

Weatherlink is capturing data from your Davis, sending it to Mt, and Mt is then sending it to Cumulus? Or I'm wrong? Unfortunately the other way around. I am using a Weatherlink Wifi Logger so there is no need for a permanent USB connection to the station. I then download the data on Weatherlink ev...

Re: Cron job failing

Well.. .there is SOME success. The Cronjob is running now - but Cumulus on my Raspberry Pi is not sending any data now.

I'm messaging the Cumulus board to understand what the problem is - I don't understand the way things work.

It feels like baby steps at the moment.....

Cron job failing

OK - so I have successfully been able to 'migrate' my site to a new server, and can successfully get my site appearing. I'm the first to admit, that I don't understand how 'everything' works, so please ignore my lack of knowledge. I run a Davis Vantage Pro 2 station, with data uploaded via Weatherli...

Re: Accessing index.php returns URL not found on setup

So I've checked my php version, and it is 7.4.28 - so all good there. Completed (another) clean installation. This would be around attempt number 5 now. Same error appearing in same place (selected the British Flag on setup). I'm now getting the following errors: PHP Warning: Undefined variable $lan...

Re: Accessing index.php returns URL not found on setup

I setup by selecting the US flag. After seeing this post, I deleted the config.php file, and then changed it to GB. My config.php file is now showing $lang = 'gb'; But I am getting the same error. And silly me deleted the error_log file thinking that it had not been updated because the timestamp had...

Accessing index.php returns URL not found on setup

Numerous issues with my site over the last 3 weeks have led me to doing a complete reinstall. The setup returns no errors, and has a created a ...
